Battery Test Check
In order to check that the battery is capable of supplying the load, the module has a TEST function which lowers the voltage to 12 V, 24 V or 48 V depending on the module.
Adjustment of the output voltage
Although Delta chargers are pre-set for the most common batteries, it is possible to adjust the output voltage up to 125% of the nominal voltage using a potentiometer on the front panel
Boost
To speed up the charging of batteries, it can be useful to apply a higher voltage for a few hours. Delta chargers have a boost function that increases the charging voltage by 3.8%. It is activated by connecting two terminals of a connector
Voltage control via external potentiometer
The Delta chargers can be voltage-controlled by an external potentiometer over a range of 10 to 15 V for 12 V, 10 to 30 V for 24 V and 15 to 60 V for 48 V. From 10 to 15 V, for 24 V from 10 to 30 V and for 48 V from 15 to 60 V
Signalling
The state of the charger is signalled by 2 LEDs and a dry contact for fault synthesis
